Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) is designed to give students essential skills required for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments, or with private enterprise. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
JOB OPPORTUNITIESBasic Law Enforcement Training graduates may work on different shifts in environments ranging from an office to a patrol car. Graduates may earn an average annual salary of $23,000 - $32,000 depending on the area selected. There are fairly good employment opportunities, especially for individuals who are willing to relocate. COURSE INFORMATIONCriminal Justice ( Certificate - 1 course) - This course of instruction covers all aspects of entry-level police work, including driving; firearms; mechanics of arrest, search and seizure; and criminal law and procedures.
